another armpit picture, as requested.
i find it very strange i’m getting all this attention directed towards my armpits. i mean, how is this such a big deal?
and really, that shouldn’t be a question for me. because it is a big deal for me too. it’s been half a year now since i stopped shaving, and i still feel uncomfortable raising my arms around people who don’t already know i don’t shave.
a few months ago here in sweden there was a huge debate going on because a woman in the audience of our swedish finale to the eurovision song contest had hairy pits. yep, that’s right. people actually started threatening her over the internet and all kinds of ridiculous stuff. okay, ranting. anyways, what i’m trying to say here is: how the fuck did this become such a big deal? how did not shaving become a weird fetish so people go on anon and ask me to post pictures? how can someone actually send a woman a death threat for making a choice over her own body? why am i still embarrassed about it?
fuck this. just. ugh.

I stopped shaving maybe 7 or 8 months ago. I don’t think I could ever go back to wasting money on razors and feeling self conscious about forgetting to shave every once in a while. I feel so much more comfortable with myself nowadays. :)
